Overview
Customization of websites based on the user’s needs.
Started as a hackathon with UXA, with MIYO we aimed at developing a simple solution to the problem of accessibility for the web viewing experience. Working in an iterative manner, we designed an extension and then used it to test with the end user.
We designed MIYO as a web browser extension that helps users customize their web viewing experience based on their needs and preferences using an NLP system.

What is MIYO?
A browser extension powered by AI that enables customization of websites based on the user’s needs.
The Need
Do you notice a Difference?
‘The Aging Eye’ is a condition that involves drastic change in how colors appear to people above 70 years of age. Color-vision problems in the blue-yellow spectrum affected 45% of people in their mid-70s, and that proportion rose to two-thirds by the time people reached their mid-90s.
Web viewing is not as Accessible.

How does MIYO work?
Technology Used
Behind the Scene.
Through an in-depth analysis of the user's text input, we can uncover their accessibility preferences. By filtering website assets based on these identified preferences, we ensure a more inclusive and user-friendly digital experience, catering to diverse needs such as screen readers, color schemes, font sizes, and other accessibility features. This approach promotes greater inclusivity and usability for all visitors.

Market
How would MIYO reach the Users?
Ethical Considerations.
The solution employs AI to solve text recognition and media comprehension. The implementation needs to be highly secure to handle personal information like users' accessibility data. The rendering of customized content happens on the local browser.
What’s next
MIYO’s Future Scope.
We see an opportunity to extend the capability to video and audio formats by filtering out information that may cause discomfort or disturbance to individuals with certain ailments or conditions. Doing so can expand the target audience from See to See + Hear.
More broader DOM manipulation can be elegantly solved by Autonomous AI agents. Existing Tools like AutoGPT and BabyAGI autonomously search and solve problems based on the prompt given. Similar technique can be used for MIYO where a user's prompt is taken and autonomously, agents can modify web pages to provide as close as an experience requested by the user.
