Building Tread.
The pivotal moment in my career began with Tread, which led me to product design. Fresh out of college, I built a fitness-tech tool with a couple of friends, even though we had no prior experience building products. We learned on the job, built an MVP, acquired users, and got into an accelerator program.
However, after two years, we shut it down due to our inability to scale. But, we moved on with a lot of learning!
Joining Backstage.
Later, I joined Backstage (Accel-backed startup) as the second product designer on their founding product team. Working in a venture-funded, fast-paced startup, I learned the importance of rapidly shipping and iterating based on feedback.
I designed the core functionalities of the mobile app from scratch and saw it grow from 0 to 100k users.
Exploring Business and VC at CMU.
I am currently pursuing my Master's degree at Carnegie Mellon University, where I am learning about the business aspects of developing products and companies. In the summer of 2023, I worked with a venture capital firm and experienced the other side of the table.
Now, I am looking to join product teams and work on interesting problem spaces and make a lasting impact!
